KC Tech Leader Onspring Unveils the Future of Employee Rewards Program
January 6, 2020: To reward key contributors and reinforce their culture of community, Onspring, a workflow automation and data visualization software company, unveiled a new employee rewards program based on creating shared experiences outside the workplace.
Destination Onspring is a travel program that provides company-funded luxury vacations both within and outside the United States. Every employee regardless of tenure, department, and position is eligible. Employees earn vacations through outstanding performance and singular actions or accomplishments that provide value to the company, in addition to an employee’s length of service.
“We recognize the mindset shift in today’s workforce and know the importance of sharing our appreciation for great work. Our team shared with us that they want more meaningful experiences both in with whom they spend their time with and where,” said Chad Kreimendahl, CTO and co-founder.
A recent Gallup poll showed that organizations and companies with highly-engaged workers have a 21% greater profitability, 41% less absenteeism and 59% less turnover. On the flip side, a report by The Engagement Institute shows that disengaged employees cost U.S. companies up to $550 billion a year.
Belinda Waggoner, CEO and founder of People People, a Kansas City-based firm specializing in building highly-engaged teams, describes the future of employee engagement is in creating positive experiences. “Companies will succeed in retaining the best and brightest talent by finding ways to add value to their environment, and most often that comes in the form of experiences. While employees come to work for a paycheck, they stay for the culture, sense of community, and rewards that are individually meaningful.”
Six Onspring employees will be the first to enjoy the benefits of Destination Onspring during a week-long stay in Kohala Coast, Hawaii this March.
Onspring provides workflow automation and real-time data visualization through cloud-based software. The company’s no-code platform means every user can create automated workflows and reporting dashboards across business units without support from IT resources, providing flexibility for those who want both convenience and customization.
